The Eurovision song contents 2020, due to beheld ion Rotterdam, the capital of The Netherlands in May, has been cancelled.
This is the first time in the 64 year history of the world’s biggest song contest that the organisers have decided that cancellation was the best course of action.
With travel between countries being restricted or even closed entirely due to governments efforts to contain COVID-19 infections, the event would have been a struggle to put on even as a performer only broadcast.
